vintage Mississippi

I'm guessing from the facial hair that most are from the 60s and 70s, and the landscapes in the outdoor shots certainly look like Mississippi. The student I bought them from didn't know much about the photographer -- only that he once lived in a small house on a plantation near Vicksburg, was a bit of a hermit, and that there was some connection to the Mississippi mafia. I'm going to do some digging around to see if I can find out anything else. He obviously knew what he was doing, both with the camera and in the darkroom.
